OREANDA-NEWS. Moscow Domodedovo Airport opens a new parking lot, thus offering more opportunities for its passengers and guests of the air hub. Now, there are eight functioning parking lots for 4,223 cars spaces in the territory of the airport complex.

The new parking facility, located 500 meters away from the passenger terminal (next to the Aerotel Hotel), can hold 142 cars. The eighth parking lot is fitted with special equipment which, thanks to its high specifications and user-friendly interface makes it possible to increase the throughput capability, which, in its turn, increases the quality of the services provided. Such technologies are used at all parking lots of Moscow Domodedovo Airport and, among other things, allow paying with cash and bank cards. Moreover, in 2013, there was introduced a pay-by-phone parking system: subscribers of such mobile phone operators as Beeline, MTS and Megafon can pay for parking right from their mobile phone account. Moscow Domodedovo Airport was the first Russian airport to offer this kind of services.

Physically challenged passengers and persons accompanying them now have guaranteed parking spaces allocated for them by the airport - 10% of the total amount. Such spaces are marked with special pictograms and information boards specifying a contact number of the specialized service of Moscow Domodedovo Airport. Parking services are provided on a free-of-charge basis if the necessary documents are provided.
