OREANDA-NEWS. FedEx Corp. announced it won first place in the category of Productivity Innovation, and ranked No. 14 overall on the 2014 Information Week Elite 100 list-a compilation of the top business technology innovators in the U.S.

FedEx was recognized for its Equipment Detection, Event Notification (EDEN) Dock/Yard project, which provides significant performance enhancements and increased visibility across FedEx Freight dock and yard operations.  The EDEN system enables near real-time messaging through heightened communication channels between dock supervisors, dock workers and drivers, saving time and money, and increasing productivity.
