BTMU Opens Bangalore Branch
OREANDA-NEWS. The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd. ("BTMU") is pleased to announce the opening of its Bangalore Branch on April 2, 2014 at the city center of Bangalore located in the southern region of India.
Bangalore is the capital city of the South-Indian state of Karnataka and the fourth largest city in India following Mumbai, New Delhi and Kolkata. The city is home to the nation's leading Information Technology exporters as well as many Japanese and foreign manufacturers such as automobile companies and precision instruments manufacturers.
BTMU has been operating in India for more than 60 years. It has been providing a wide range of banking services to its customers from its four branches in New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, and Neemrana. The opening of BTMU's fifth branch in Bangalore will further expand its branch network in India. This would also make BTMU, the bank with the largest branch network among Japanese banks in India.
