au Smart Pass began on March 1, 2012 with the aim of forging stronger connections between smartphones and real life as stated in the "Smart Relations Concept". For a flat rate of JPN 372/month (excluding tax), au smart Pass offers various services such as unlimited downloading of apps and WEB apps, membership benefits through the association of various artists and companies, security measures and data backup, and support services that provide peace of mind like the device repair fee support.
