Kazakh PM Introduced Reconstruction Project of Airport Korkyt Ata
OREANDA-NEWS. April 01, 2014. Prime Minister Serik Akhmetov got acquainted with the reconstruction project of the airport "Korkyt ata" during his working visit to Kyzylorda Region.
The project involves the construction of a new passenger terminal of international standard with capacity of 250 passengers / hour. Expanding of the airport’s capacity will solve many social and economic issues of the region and create the conditions to attract potential investors to the region for implementation of innovation and cluster projects.
Serik Akhmetov visited seed-growing farm LLP "Magzhan and K" and held a meeting with agricultural producers in Syrdarya District.
Prime Minister, having focused on the challenges facing the country's agro-industrial complex, stressed that "the Head of state pays special attention to the development of agriculture, the program "Agribusiness-2020" has been adopted and implemented on behalf of the President, and three trillion tenge will be allocated from the state budget for the development of the industry until 2020 in its framework". As S. Akhmetov explained, "194 million tenge were allocated for these purposes" in the current year.
In Kyzylorda S. Akhmetov visited the sports and fitness complex" Muz Aydyny" and perinatal center under construction with 200 seats. Commissioning of the perinatal center equipped with modern medical equipment will expand the number of beds of maternity obstetric and childhood service.
Serik Akhmetov also visited the factory of mechanical recycling of used tires to produce high quality rubber crumb LLP "SmartRubber". Partner of the project is the German company "Water Future Systems GmbH".
