FAS: It Is Necessary to Further Improve Antimonopoly Law
OREANDA-NEWS. March 31, 2014. Deputy Head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia), Alexander Kinev, took part in the Annual National Research-to-Practice Conference on the “Pressing Issues of Administrative and Administrative-Procedural Law” organized by St Petersburg University of the Ministry of Interior.
Alexander Kinev made a presentation on the problems of applying the norms of administrative law by the antimonopoly body, and shared the experience of imposing turnover fines by FAS Russia. Concluding the presentation, Deputy Head of FAS also supported the idea of further improvement of the antimonopoly law.
“The Conference participants coincided in the opinion that the Code on Administrative Violations requires serious refinement both in terms of their structure and content”, pointed out Alexander Kinev.
