FAS Shares its Plans with Finnish-Russian Chamber of Commerce
OREANDA-NEWS. March 31, 2014. Representatives of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) took part in a session of the Club of Finnish-Russian Chamber of Commerce on Logistics and Foreign Economic Activity, organized by Moscow office of Finnish-Russian Chamber of Commerce. Representatives of more than 20 specialized companies and organizations took part in the session.
An advisor to the FAS Department for Control over the Authorities, Stanislav Druzhinin, and Deputy Head of the Inspection Unit of FAS Department for Control over the Authorities, Kirill Shulzhenko, informed participants about the current projects of the antimonopoly body in the part of analyzing the markets of foreign economic activity and the problems of customs administration.
The session participants were especially interested in the prospects of carnet TIR (Transports Internationaux Routiers) and development of the institutions of foreign economic activity. They expressed the readiness to continue constructive intercommunication and exchange information in this area.
The session agenda included presentations on implementing the Road Map on “Improving Customs Administration”, brand protection and the prospects of developing Russia’s transit potential.
Stanislav Druzhinin summed up that “the dialogue with the business-community will help making conditions of economic activity on the markets of services in the field of customs administration more transparent and accessible and the competitive environment – more developed”.
