OREANDA-NEWS. EUROCEMENT UKRAINE, part of EUROCEMENT group, has donated 3 tons of high quality and environmentally friendly cement for the construction of an emergency (urgent) medical division at the Balakliia central clinical district hospital.

The central clinical hospital was founded in 1911. Every year, the day-and-night clinics at the BCCDL accept around 10-11 thousand patients, and up to 3 thousand people go to the hospital for surgical treatment.

EUROCEMENT UKRAINE isn't just one of the largest cement producers in Ukraine, but is also a socially responsible business. Charitable and sponsorship campaigns are one of the key parts of the company's activities. The priority regions for the provision of aid are the cities where EUROCEMENT UKRAINE plants are present: Balakliia of the Kharkov region and Kramatorsk of the Donetsk region.

It's worth noting that in January of the current year, the plant provided financial aid to the A.A. Trizna Balakliian General Education School No.1, donating funds for the purchase of linoleum in one of the school's classrooms. This allowed for the successful realization of a program of major repairs in this educational facility.
