OREANDA-NEWS. A Partner Day has been held at Savinskiy Cement Plant, part of EUROCEMENT group, which was attended by the representatives of 12 organizations of the construction sector and the administrations of the municipal districts of the Arkhangelsk region.

In opening the Partner Day program, EUROCEMENT group's St. Petersburg branch manager Olga Chernenko and the Savinskiy Cement Plant General Director Alexei Chukmarev thanked customers for their long standing trust in the high quality of the plant's cement. They also spoke of their plans to develop the plant in 2014, and gave a detailed explanation to consumers of the range of produced cement, types of packaging, and possibilities and terms of shipment.

"Today, Savinskiy Cement Plant produces 5 types of cement (CEM I 32,5B, CEM I 32,5N, CEM II/A-Sh 32,5N, PC 400-D0-N, SSPC 400-D0, and SSPC 400-D20), which conform to all regulatory requirements and are used for solid and prefabricated concrete in residential, industrial, road and mine construction, and in underground and hydroengineering facilities. Quality control over the produce is performed at all stages of production using modern laboratory equipment. At our consumers' demand, the plant's specialists are ready to consider the possibility of producing other forms of cement" noted Alexei Chukmarev at the meeting.

The plant's manager called particular attention to the award-winning high quality of the plant's produce. The plant's produce has won prizes in federal and regional quality competitions. It holds the highest awards of the national project All-Russian Mark of Quality. Sign of Quality in the XXI Century - Platinum Marks of Quality, along with diplomas from the 100 Best Goods of Russia contest. In 2013, Savinskiy Cement Plant received the highest award in terms of quality - the Passport of High Quality Enterprise. The document was presented by the Federal Agency on Technical Regulating and Metrology.

At the consumer meeting, Olga Chernenko underlined that Savinskiy Cement Plant is one of the largest producers of European-quality cement in the north of Russia. The plant delivers cement to the Arkhangelsk, Murmansk, and Vologda regions and the Karelia and Komi republics on the same day it receives an order, and to the Moscow, Kostroma and Kirov regions the day after it receives an order. Cement delivery is carried out both via rail wagons and the client's automotive transport.

As part of Partner Day, a tour around the main processing stages of Savinskiy Cement Plant's production line was organized for the consumers. The consumers inspected:

The plant's own mine with limestone deposits.

The clinker burning division, equipped with 4 rotary furnaces, in which raw material is burnt at 1,450°C, undergoing a range of physical/chemical changes and turning into Portland cement clinker (raw material for cement production).

The cement milling division, equipped with 5 cement mills with a productivity of 190 tons/hour.

The cement packaging and shipping zone of the rail transport department, where cement is bagged in soft 1,000kg big bags and 50kg paper three-layer bags, and bulk cement shipping is performed.

The plant's production control division and laboratory, which are fitted with modern equipment allowing test results to be obtained in real time, providing the opportunity to correct the technological process in order to release high quality produce.
