OREANDA-NEWS. Jet Airways, India’s premier international airline, announces the introduction of a second daily frequency from Mumbai to Kathmandu with the introduction of a second daily Boeing 737 flight, effective March 30th, 2014.

The new Jet Airways morning service, flight 9W 268 will depart Mumbai daily at 0805 hrs and arrive Kathmandu at 1100 hrs (Local Time). On the return, flight 9W 267 will depart Kathmandu at 1200 hrs (LT) and arrive in Mumbai at 1440 hrs (LT), providing onward connection on the airline’s network to domestic and international destinations.

This new service will complement the daily flight being operated between these two destinations by Jet Airways. Jet Airways will be the only private airline to fly twice daily return flights from Delhi and Mumbai to Kathmandu.

The airline, known for its hospitality, will deploy a Boeing 737-800/900 Next Generation (NG) aircraft on this route, offering Premiere and Economy guests Jet Airways' famed in-flight service and its award-winning In-flight Entertainment (IFE) programme.

With the introduction of this additional morning service, we aim to popularise this amongst guests seeking a holiday break. The new flight would also help in connecting our guests flying into and from Mumbai to Kathmandu and vice versa on to our domestic and international network.”
