Average Interest Rate on MDL Loans Made Up 11,96% in February
OREANDA-NEWS. March 26, 2014. February 2014 saw the decrease in the average interest rate on loans to legal entities by 0.47 p.p. from 12.14% to 11.67%, and the increase in the average interest rate on loans to individuals by 0.02 p.p. from 12.82% to 12.84%, NBM reports.
It should be reminded that the lowest ever average interest rate on MDL loans was recorded in September, 2012 and made up 11.79% p.a. In February, 2014, the highest interest rate was that on loans issued for up to 1 month to individuals. It made up 19.97% a year. The highest interest rate among rates for legal entities and individuals was that on loans issued for up to 1 month too. It equalled to 19.05% in February against 15.53% in January.
For legal entities, it made up 18.85% in February (against 14.78% in January); for individuals, it was 19.37% in February (against 22.4% in January). The lowest February interest rate was that on construction loans given to individuals for up to 1 month and made up 7.95% p.a. In the reporting period, the lowest interest rate among rates for legal entities and individuals was that on loans extended for over 5 years.
It equalled to 10.75%, making 10.74% and 10.75% for legal entities and individuals respectively.
