Chairman Jia Baojun and Party Secretary Xu Siwei of Sinosteel Corporation interviewed with the visiting delegation from Chongqing Iron & Steel Group which was headed by Mr. Liu Jiacai, the Chairman and Party Secretary of Chongqing Iron & Steel Group, and both sides had warm and friendly talks. 

Jia Baojun and Xu Siwei welcomed the delegation headed by Chairman Liu Jiacai to visit Sinosteel Corporation , and delivered thanks to Chongqing Iron & Steel Group for their trust and support, and they hoped both sides to continue to maintain friendly exchanges and further extend their cooperative areas, give play to their respective advantages in engineering equipments, trade and logistics, exploration of overseas mineral resources, and to enhance exchanges and cooperation for a win-win result. 

Chairman Liu delivered thanks to Sinosteel Corporation for its support and assistance to Chongqing Iron & Steel Group. He also presented a rough picture on the current operation of his Company and their future development planning. He said, in 2013, Chongqing Iron & Steel Group responded actively to the challenging market conditions in the steel sector, and well achieved its production, operation and growth objectives as expected. In addition, Chongqing Iron & Steel Group also achieved results in systematic cost reduction and profit increase, advancement of major projects and non-steel operations. He hoped to continue to get supports from Sinosteel Corporation in future, and hoped that both sides would enhance their mutual beneficial cooperation and achieve common development.  

In order to better give play to their respective advantages and achieve a common development, both sides signed a strategic cooperation agreement. As per the Agreement, both Sinosteel Corporation  and Chongqing Iron & Steel Group will carry out all-round cooperation in supply of equipment and materials, general project contracting, metallurgical product trading and other industries that both sides have advantages.
