OREANDA-NEWS. March 25, 2014. The third session of the Security and Defence Exhibition was held in Baghdad. “AutoKrAZ” along with 53 exhibitors from 9 leading countries of the world including USA, China, South Korea, Great Britain, participated at this exhibition and presented the whole lineup of special vehicles produced by the automobile plant.

A wide range of armament and new concepts including defense and police security equipment, firefighting, rescue and protective equipment, were on display at this military forum. 

Mr. Saadun Dulaimi, Iraqi Acting Minister of Defence, ambassadors and military attaches of some countries were present at the inauguration of the exhibition.

After visiting the stand of “AutoKrAZ” and having a look at its products, Mr.Dulaimi said he counted on participation of KrAZ in the development of Iraq. 

“KrAZ is a simple and versatile military vehicle.  We will win terrorism with such Ukrainian vehicles “, - he said. “Moreover, off-road KrAZ trucks delivered as part of postwar reconstruction of Iraq proved their strength, ruggedness and reliability “.
