OREANDA-NEWS. EUROCEMENT group has taken part in the 24th International Architectural and Building Exhibition YugBuild, held in Krasnodar between February 26 and March 1 in 2014. At the exhibition, the group presented produce from Kavkazcement and Oskolcement, and from the new high-tech plant in the settlement of Podgorensky in the Voronezh region.

This year, participants of the YugBuild exhibition included more than 500 representatives of the construction industry from 15 countries and 34 regions of Russia. The overall space of the exhibition came to more than 30,000 sq. m. Over the 4 days of its operation, 16,500 people visited the exhibition.

It's worth noting that EUROCEMENT group's new high-tech dry-method cement plant was built from scratch over three years in the settlement of Podgorensky in the Voronezh region and launched in December 2012. The full productive capacity of the plant amounts to 3 million tons of cement per year. The equipment and basic engineering was carried out by the FLSmidth (Denmark) company, a leading provider for the global cement industry.

Thanks to the newest production technologies and green solutions, average fuel usage at the plant is 1.6 times lower than at a plant working with traditional cement production methods, and emissions from production are 2.5 times lower than the standard metrics.

The new high-tech plant is advantageously located (200 km south of Voronezh), which allows it to transport cement by rail and truck not only to consumers in the Voronezh region, but also to the south of Russia and foreign countries.

The advantages of the new plant:

Its own raw materials base:

The plant has its own raw materials mine, the Alder Narrow.

Explored stores amount to 310 million tons, which will allow for the plant's uninterrupted operation for more than 75 years.

Production:

The full productive capacity of the plant amounts to 3 million tons of cement per year.

In addition to the CEM I 42,5N cement, the group's new plant began to produce two new forms of cement in September 2013: CEM I 52,5N and CEM II/A-S 42,5N.

These cements are in the highest demand among consumers and are used in residential, infrastructural and industrial construction. They are high quality and environmentally safe products.

Thanks to the closed-cycle milling technology in use at the plant, the produce has the highest possible durability.

The plant offers a wide range of packaging to its consumers. At this time, the cement is shipped both in bulk at a volume of up to 300 tons/hour, and in bags: up to 150 tons/hour in three-layer 50kg paper bags; up to 150 tons/hour in 1,000kg big bags, and up to 60 tons hour in 25kg and 50kg bags on shrink-wrapped pallets.

High production quality:

The new plant is equipped with a robotic laboratory which provides quality control for produce at every stage of production.

The application of an automated system in the laboratory allows for the quality of the selection and preparation of samples to be significantly increased, which is one of the most important conditions in ensuring the quality of manufactured produce.

Shipping flexibility

The plant is equipped with a fully automated shipping section, which allows it to save a significant amount of consumers' time during loading, thanks to the application of the most modern packaging and weighing equipment.

Produce is unloaded 24 hours a day, which makes delivery as convenient as possible for consumers.

The plant has its own fleet of company cement carriers on a Mercedes automobile base with a capacity of 23.5 tons, along with curtain-sided trucks on a Mercedes automobile base with a capacity of 27.75 tons for transporting packaged cement in bags and big bags.
