OREANDA-NEWS. March 24, 2014. Further to its press release on 27 February, 2014, Rostelecom OJSC (MOEX: RTKM, RTKMP; OTCQX: ROSYY), Russia’s national telecommunications operator, announces that, as of March 20, 2014, trading in Rostelecom shares will only be executed on the Moscow Exchange’s Negotiated Market in the Main Market sector.

This precedes the planned suspension of the Company’s ordinary and preferred shares on the Moscow Exchange from March 26, 2014 to April 1, 2014 inclusively, and the suspension of National Settlement Depository transactions of these shares, due to registration procedures associated with creating CJSC RT-Mobile. In addition, trading is to be suspended on the Standard and Classica market sectors, as well as on the T+ Main Trading Platform of the Main Market sector.

Share trading and National Settlement Depositary transactions are expected to resume after CJSC RT-Mobile has been registered at the Official Single Register of Legal Entities. By law, the period taken to consider the application cannot exceed five working days from the date the registration was filed, which is scheduled for March 25, 2014.
