OREANDA-NEWS. March 21, 2014. Tallegg, which dominates poultry and egg production in Estonia, and the Rakvere Meat Plant will merge into a single legal entity at the end of May, it was announced.

The move is a formality as both are owned by the same group, HKScan, and will not involve any rebranding. But the new corporate name will be HKScan Estonia, and the names of the Latvian and Lithuanian units will also reflect the same logic.

The changes are similar to restructuring at the country's Swedish-owned banks.
