Merko Ehitus Eesti Changes its Management Board
OREANDA-NEWS. March 20, 2014. The Supervisory Board of AS Merko Ehitus Eesti decided to recall a member of the Management Board of AS Merko Ehitus Eesti Andres Agukas.
The change is part of reorganising the company?s management structure for the purpose of more effective management in general construction and civil engineering. Andres Agukas has decided to leave the company after a long and successful career in Merko.
The Management Board of the AS Merko Ehitus Eesti will continue with four members: Tiit Roben (The Chairman), Jaan Mae, Alar Lagus and Veljo Viitmann. Tiit Roben will take in addition to company?s general management responsibility for the management of civil engineering business division, Jaan Mae will be responsible in addition to residential construction and real estate development for general construction business division. Veljo Viitmann will continue managing the construction preparation division and Alar Lagus the finance division.
Due to Andres Agukas leaving the company, there will also be changes in the Supervisory Boards of AS Merko Ehitus Eesti subsidiaries AS Merko Infra and Tallinna Teede AS. Instead of Andres Agukas, Tiit Roben will be the new Member of Supervisory Board of AS Merko Infra as of 7 March 2014. The Supervisory Board of the AS Merko Infra will continue with three members: Tiit Roben (Chairman), Veljo Viitmann and Mihkel Mugur. The Supervisory Board of the Tallinna Teede AS will continue with three members: Tiit Roben (Chairman), Alar Lagus and Veljo Viitmann.
Tiit Roben has been the Chairman of the Management Board of AS Merko Ehitus Eesti since January 2012. In 2008-2012 he was the Chairman of the Management Board of AS Merko Ehitus. Tiit Roben has graduated from Tallinn University of Technology in the specialty of industrial and civil engineering. Tiit Roben is the member of Management Board of AS Merko Ehitus Eesti, OU Tahelinna Kinnisvara, OU Sopruse Investeeringud, Estonian Association of Construction Entrepreneurs and Amistad Invest OU. He is also the member of the Supervisory Board of Tallinna Teede AS, AS Merko Tartu, OU Unigate, OU Mineraal and AS Gustaf. As the co-owner of Amistad Invest OU, Tiit Roben has control over 1500 shares of AS Merko Ehitus.
