OREANDA-NEWS. Power supply in the cyclone-affected districts of the Bryansk region has been fully restored. Currently, IDGC of Centre - Bryanskenergo division is operating in a normal mode.

Timely and coordinated work of operators, electricians of IDGC of Centre - Bryanskenergo division allowed to fully restore power supply to consumers by 06:00 16 March 2014. Currently the power engineers are completing eliminating outages under complaints of some residential customers.

Crews from Distribution Zones, special vehicles were involved in the emergency and restoration work. Specialists of IDGC of Centre - Bryanskenergo division primarily restored power supply of social facilities, which was done by 01:00 16 March 2014.

The power outages in the Bryansk region occurred in the night of 15 to 16 March and were due to the passage through the region of a strong cyclone, accompanied by strong gusty winds, reaching up to 20 metres per second. The bad weather caused electricity outages in a number of municipal districts of the region.
