BEA Opens First Digital Branch
OREANDA-NEWS. March 18, 2014. The Bank of East Asia (“BEA”) announces the opening of its “digital branch” at the ifc mall in Central.
To celebrate the grand opening, the Bank held a cocktail reception hosted by Dr. David K.P. Li, BEA’s Chairman & Chief Executive and the Bank’s directors and senior executives, and attended by strategic business partners, and other guests.
“This branch is a model for the new way to bank: innovative, efficient, and environmentally - friendly. We have chosen to situate this pilot branch at Hong Kong’s most prestigious commercial area, ifc mall, as it is the ideal venue to attract customers that value its convenience,” said Dr. Li at the reception. “Looking to the future, we will bring the innovations you see here today to other elite locations throughout Hong Kong, ensuring that expert financial assistance is always close at hand.”
BEA’s new ifc Branch has been designed to meet the needs of an increasingly tech - savvy consumer base. The streamlined branch is equipped with advanced features, including the i-Counter, i-Window, and i-Kit, which offer digitised banking services.
