OREANDA-NEWS. March 18, 2014. The thermal test for the 1780mm stainless steel hot rolling production line of Fujiani Dingxin Scientific Technology Co., Ltd. was successfully fulfilled.

This line was designed by BERIS Engineering & Research Corp. (BERIS). As the current largest width stainless steel hot rolling production line in China, it consists of walking beam furnace, roughing mill group, coil box, finishing mill group and recoiling machine. After completion, the annual output will be up to 3 million tons.??

This is a new landmark-project design undertaken by BERIS, following the two stainless steel hot rolling production lines respectively designed for Southwest Stainless Steel Co., Ltd. in Sichuan Province and Beihai Chengde Stainless Steel Co., Ltd. in Guangxi Province. BERIS carried out overall optimized design work with the targets of saving costs and enhancing project competitiveness. On this basis, the investment was greatly reduced, the construction period was remarkably shortened and a new record was made among the similar projects. Therefore this project will be taken as one of the major examples for quite a few national key steel works such as Baosteel’s Zhanjiang Project in terms of optimization of design, investment management and construction period control. 

Fujiani Dingxin Scientific Technology Co., Ltd. is subordinated to Qingshan Iron & Steel Group. Qingshan Group is one of the largest private companies engaged in production of stainless steel, of which the output of 2013 ranked No. 2 in China.
