OREANDA-NEWS. The competition in labor safety at the enterprise Belorusneft has finished.

Twenty departments participated in it in 2013. Over 200 measures to improve conditions and increase of labor safety were taken during its conduct. According to the results of the competition, the personnel of the EOR and workover department became the winner. The Department for instrumentation and control equipment maintenance got the second place, third place was occupied by the Belarusian gas processing plant.

There are 300 hazardous production facilities at the company. Therefore, the work in the area of process safety occupies an important place in the activities of Belorusneft. The implantation of the labor safety system management of the standard STB 18001-2009 completed in 2013. The Ministry of Emergency Situations approved the Rules of the provision of industrial safety at the production of oil and gas, elaborated in collaboration with the specialists of Belorusneft. Labor conditions and sanitation and housekeeping conditions have improved at many work places. Thus, the reconstruction works are completed at the oil products storage warehouses in Grodno and Novopolotsk, production bay of the automobile garage of the Rechitsa utility vehicles department, one of the canteens of the Headworks. Modernization of the aspiration systems of the elevator of RUE Belorusneft-Osobino was conducted, and air cleaning system of the cement warehouse at the Procurement & logistics department.
