OREANDA-NEWS. March 17, 2014. These findings are provided by Ukrtransgaz, part of the Neftegaz of Ukraine holding providing the transit of the Russian gas to Moldova on the territory of Ukraine.

In 2013 Gazprom supplied to Moldova, its Transdniestrian region included, about 2.39 billion cu m of natural gas, down 22.4% year-on-year, InfoMarket reported earlier.

According to the National Energy Regulatory Agency, in 2013, Moldova, excluding Transdniestria, reduced purchases of Russian gas by 5.9% to 1 billion 031.2 million cu m. In monetary terms, the purchase volume decreased 5.1% to MDL 4 billion 774.3 million.
