The Analytical Center of the Rusipoteka.ru portal placed Sviaz-Bank (Vnesheconombank Group) fifth among leading mortgage banks in 2013, after Sberbank, VTB 24, Gazprombank, and DeltaCredit. “Sviaz-Bank comes last among the five leaders with 17.9 billion rubles,” says the survey report.

In 2013, Sviaz-Bank issued 16% more mortgage loans than it did in 2012.

The survey report also says that five banks with state interest – Sberbank, Gazprombank, VTB 24, Sviaz-Bank, and the Bank of Moscow – keeping a presence on the mortgage market issued a total of 984 billion rubles in mortgage loans in 2013. At the end of the year, their share of the mortgage market had risen to 72.7% of the total amount of mortgage loans issued in 2013, up from 66.4% in 2012, experts say.

As previously, Sviaz-Bank is named among banks leading in growth rates on the mortgage market.
