OREANDA-NEWS.   A cooperation agreement between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation (CCI Russia), the Krasnoyarsk Krai, the Central Siberian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Bank of Moscow, and the United Electronic Market Place (UEMP) was signed within the 11th Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum.

The agreement was signed by Sergey Katyrin, Chairman of the Board and President of CCI Russia; Victor Tomenko, First Deputy Governor and Chairman of the Government of the Krasnoyarsk Krai; Mikhail Kuzovlev, President and Chairman of the Management Board of the Bank of Moscow; Sergey Zaitsev, Deputy General Director of UEMP; and Nikolay Khudykh, Chairman of the Central Siberian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The Agreement was signed to facilitate the development of the procurement system in the Krasnoyarsk Krai in accordance with Federal Law 44-FZ On Contract System in the Field of Procurement of Goods, Work, Services for the State and Municipal Needs, and 223-FZ On Procurement of Goods, Work, Services by Legal Entities of Certain Types, and also to support the involvement of SMEs in procurement.

To achieve these objectives, the agreement provides for the creation of the Centre for the Development of the Procurement System in the Krasnoyarsk Krai within CCI Russia, the Bank of Moscow, the Central Siberian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and UEMP, as well as for the implementation of public control over compliance with procurement legislation; creation of an information support system; consulting and awareness raising activities among the business community, customers, etc.
