OREANDA-NEWS. March 12, 2014. For the last several days, Air France customers have been able to fly to Rangoon (Myanmar) via Bangkok, thanks to a new partnership with Bangkok Airways.

With departure from Paris-Charles de Gaulle, Air France is offering six flights per week to Bangkok, aboard a 468-seat Boeing 777-300 aircraft (14 seats in Business Class, 32 in Premium Economy and 422 in Economy). With a flight connection in Bangkok, Air France offers a flight to Rangoon operated by Bangkok Airways, thanks to a code sharing agreement.

Connecting time between the two flights has been reduced to a minimum at Bangkok-Suvarnabhumi airport, so that the pearl of South-East Asia is now more accessible than ever before.

The wonders of Rangoon, such as Kandawgyi Lake or the Shwedagon Pagoda, are now open for visitors to explore. Rangoon is also the main economic hub of Myanmar, and Air France is proud to be contributing to the development of a destination with great potential, as well as that of the region in general.
