Belarus Radically Raises Cost of ID Stamps for Commodities
OREANDA-NEWS. Belarus has raised the cost of ID stamps, which are used to mark different types of commodities, by 25% - 41.7 times, following resolution #3 of February 5, 2014 adopted by the Ministry of Finance.
Belarus uses ID stamps to mark 20 groups of commodities, including vegetable oil, motor oil, beer, alcohol and soft beverages, cell phones, TV set, etc.
The cost of ID stamps rises to the greatest extent - by 41.7 times - to Br5,000 (USD 0.51) - with regard to new digital printing equipment, PCs, laptops, cell phones in the manufacturer's package, computer displays, TV sets.
For vegetable oil, fruit juices, detergents, glass washing liquids, the cost of an ID stamp shall rise by 25% to Br150 (USD 0.015) per container of any capacity.
For motor oil, the cost of an ID stamp will stand at Br1,000 (USD 0.1), up 85.2%.
For antifreeze coolants, footwear, clocks and watches, the cost of an ID stamp shall stand at Br1,000 (USD 0.1), up 8.3 times.
For caviar, beer, computer monitors, tea, the cost of an ID stamp shall stand at Br500 (USD 0.05), up 4.2 times.
