OREANDA-NEWS. Imported alcohol beverages subject to customs control shall be marked with excise stamps abroad or at Belarus' customs warehouses, in accordance with President Lukashenko's ordinance #102 of February 28, 2014.

The list of customs warehouses shall be determined by the State Customs Committee. Until recently imported alcoholic beverages could only be marked with excise stamps beyond the borders of Belarus.

The move is intended to boost the competitive potential of Belarus' transport and logistic networks.
