OREANDA-NEWS. March 11, 2014. According to the National Bureau of Statistics, the return on dairy product sales was MDL 2 billion 339.9 million in the reporting period.

A total value of the dairy output dispatched in 2013 to the external and internal market was MDL 1 billion 694.5 million, the output amounting to MDL 128.3 million being dispatched abroad. In 2013 the output of milk and cream increased 4.6% to 65 million 208.4 thousand tons.

Production of milk, yogurt, kefir, soar cream and other fermented dairy products grew 3.6% to 30 million 166.4 thousand tons. Production of spread and unrefined fats decreased 61.2 to 34 million 531.9 thousand, production of butter increased 10.6% to 4 million 156.7 thousand, production of cheese and cottage cheese grew 15.5% to 2 million 403.1 thousand.
