OREANDA-NEWS. March 11, 2014. In February this year Estonian Air carried 32 152 passengers. In the same month last year, Estonian Air carried 32 613 passengers.

In the first two months Estonian Air carried 69 825 passengers. In the same period last year, Estonian Air carried altogether 76 240 passengers.

“The results of the first two months are in line with our restructuring plan. Last year we had ten (including turboprop) aircraft in our fleet compared to five today and we were operating 20 per cent more flights. At the same time the total passenger level for two months is only 8 per cent less and on top of it, on par with last February, which means much better efficiency of our operations,” explained Jan Palmer, the CEO of Estonian Air.

In February Estonian Air operated 690 flights, which is 13.3% less compared to February last year. In the first two months of the year Estonian Air operated 1476 flights, which is 20.2% less compared to the same period last year.

The 15-minute punctuality of Estonian Air flights in the first two months was 94.0 %, an increase of 7.6 percentage points compared to the same period last year. The regularity was 99.4%, a decrease 0.3 percentage points compared to the same period last year.

In February the regularity and punctuality were 99.7% and 97.1% respectively.
