OREANDA-NEWS. March 11, 2014. The Energy Consulting Group has finished the implementation of Sage ERP X3 for supply management and CRM in SvyazStroyKomplekt – a company-supplier of utilities and telecommunication facilities.

The project was stipulated by the requirements to increase the customer service quality, the cost accounting transparency and the income planning for each supply. For the achieving this aim, top-managers of SvyazStroyKomplekt decided to implement a full-fledged ERP system – Sage ERP X3.

Alongside with all necessary functionalities, the crucial factor for a choice in favor of this system was placed on ergonomic interface with customized visual processes. All these factors enable to make the enterprise management more visual. An ability to customize the system rapidly excludes the needs to make extra developments resulted in reducing the timeframes and implementation costs.

In the course of the project the experts of Energy Consulting automated the supply management process for each stage. The system takes into account such features as consignment attributes (weight, range of commodities etc.) and accumulates all planned costs for each action in a chain. The system precisely tracks the order status and calculates the planned income in a timely manner.

Due to Sage ERP X3 the Company is able to get some information on the maturity of the required documents and to plan all costs relevant to supplies. Among these costs are such items as transportation and insurance costs, customs duties etc. Sometimes they comprise up to one hundred positions.

Not only does Sage ERP X3 provide with the efficient supply management, it also helps users to control making deals more precisely. The CRM module enabled to automate a full-staged process of customer relationship management starting with order receipts and ending in tender proposal formation. At the moment users are able to register and process customer’s requests, to manage price-lists (price policy), to prepare tender proposals and to register calls and meetings.

The total duration of the project was 7 months. As for the CRM module, it has been implemented in record-breaking time – in just six weeks. The users of the system are staff of the sales and procurement department.

The system implementation has allowed not only to eliminate errors in supply planning and in customers’ relations. It also has significantly reduced the time taken for performing all operations, and increased the efficiency and transparency of the enterprise resource planning. The company's management has been able to manage the strategy and timing of deliveries and to forecast financial results on the basis of true, fair, reliable and actual information.
