OREANDA-NEWS. EUROCEMENT UKRAINE, a member of EUROCEMENT Group, at January 2014 month end shipped to its customers 28,000 tons of cement, up 28% (6,197 tons) from the same period a year earlier. Specifically, the volume of bagged cement dispatched was 6,247 tons, an increase of 6% (2,702 tons) against last January's figures.

СЕМ 2 42,5N and СЕМ 22/A-S 32,5R are in the highest demand among the customers. In the first month of 2014, 16,612 tons of such cement types were shipped, up almost 1.6-fold (57%) against the same period in 2013. Cements such as СЕМ 2 42,5N and СЕМ 22/A-S32,5R are broadly used in residential and commercial property as well as road construction.

It should be noted that the above-mentioned cements are certified as compliant with the requirements of ЕN197-1:2011 standard and, therefore, the enterprise is entitled to use the CE marking on its products to certify that a given item is harmless to customers’ health and the environment and conforms to the fundamental requirements set forth in the EU directives and to the harmonized standards of the European Union.
