In preparation for the events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Karelia, the delegation headed by the Deputy Secretary of the Security Council of Russia Rashid Nurgaliyev and Head of the Republic of Karelia Alexandr Hudilainen visited Matkozhnenskaya HPP JSC TGC-1.

The main theme of the meeting with specialists of TGC-1 was the preparation of the Karelian hydropower plants to pass the spring flood.

Energy noted that in the course of a comprehensive training hydropower plants to flood period special attention paid to the state of hydro power equipment on rivers Suna, Kem and Vig. Special commission of JSC TGC-1 checked the readiness of all funds for the prevention and elimination of possible emergency situations, regular monitoring of the water level in rivers and reservoirs.

In 2013 - 2014 years JSC TGC-1 sent on the implementation of measures to ensure the safety of hydraulic structures in Karelia more than 200 million rubles.
