OREANDA-NEWS.   The results of implementation of the Collective Agreement in 2013 were summed up at a conference of OJSC KAMAZ (a member of State Corporation Rostec).
The company’s wage and social policy depends on its production and sales performance. Despite the crisis economic situation in the Russian engineering industry, KAMAZ managed not only to maintain its leading positions in the market of trucks with GVW of 14-40 tons, but also to increase a share among the largest producers up to 45%. Although the company closed the year with lower vehicle sales figures than it had been planned, it fulfilled wage and social payment obligations completely. The higher efficiency of labor protection management allowed to detect and eliminate traumatic situations in time, and also to improve working conditions.

Sergey Kogogin, Director General of KAMAZ, reminded in his speech about today’s main problems of the company, “We are currently opening an important reengineering project which will enable to arrange modern production and make brand-new products. The main challenge in this case is reducing costs and increasing productivity. Now there is a period of creative work and great changes at KAMAZ. We will continue paying our dues, but conditions under which we have always been working changed us for the better. We are ready to fight for a place in the market.
