OREANDA-NEWS. S7 Airlines, a member of the oneworld(r) global aviation alliance(r), got a professional award in the sphere of aircraft technical maintenance and overhaul.

The award is presented annually since 2008 during the international conference "Aircraft equipment technical maintenance and overhaul in Russia and the CIS" together with the magazine "Air transport overview".

S7 Airlines got a special award for the organization of work for the maintenance of its fleet airworthiness.

"Aircraft airworthiness maintenance is an integral part of flight operation safety. Flight safety is a priority task for our airline company. It's a matter of importance for us that S7 Airlines passengers can trust our company when planning their trips aware of a safe and convenient scheduled flight ahead", Aleksey Ovsyannikov, Deputy Director for Airworthiness Maintenance, noted.
