OREANDA-NEWS. The forecast on the recoverable oil reserves at the Zapadno-Kalininskoe field has been confirmed.

At the beginning of February, 2014 during the test in the open hole of exploratory well No. 5 within the interval 4,209 - 4,231 m the oil inflow of 16 t/day was obtained. It is planned to start the development with the set of hydrodynamic surveys in March, as well launch the facility to permanent operation. By testing well No. 5 of the Zapadno-Kalininskoe field, the specialists will clarify the geologic structure, the amount of oil in place and recoverable oil reserves, their structure, and determine further actions to develop the field reasonably.

The new field was discovered last spring. It is located in Khoiniki district. The structure was discovered and prepared for deep drilling by the specialists of BelNIPINeft institute according to the results of the conducted 3D seismic survey. Currently, one well No. 4 Zapadno-Kalininskaya is in commercial production providing 420 bbl. /day. This is a periodic well.
