UTair Places First at Civil Aviation Day Games
OREANDA-NEWS. UTair Aviation took first place in the team rankings at 9th annual International Civil Aviation Day 2014 games which took place in the Krylatskoe Sports Palace in Moscow. More than 20 teams representing companies from across the aviation industry took part in the games.
Over the two days of competition, UTair employees participated in a range of events including futsal, volleyball, ping pong, darts, chess and other sports.
The UTair team emerged victorious in the table hockey, table football and dart throwing events. The team also placed second and third in ping pong, poker, volleyball and chess.
The Civil Aviation Day 2014 games are sponsored by the Russian Ministry of Transport and the Federal Air Transport Agency.
UTair holds its own annual athletic competitions in ping pong, football, chess, shooting, volleyball, skiing and basketball. The company maintains a tradition of taking part in industrial and regional sports events to promote a healthy lifestyle and teamwork.
UTair teams consistently come in first and rank in the top three places in a multitude of athletic events, including victories at the Civil Aviation Day silver series games.

Civil Aviation Day 2014 is an annual international sporting event that forms part of the AVIALIGA athletic movement for professionals in the aviation industry. The AVIALIGA project is sponsored by the Russian Ministry of Transport and the Federal Air Transport Agency.
