OREANDA-NEWS.    State oil giant Saudi Aramco has named Abdallah Al Saadan as senior vice-president of finance, strategy and development, a newly formed post that consolidates corporate planning and finance, Aramco said.

Saadan joined Aramco in 1980 and among other posts has worked as vice-president of corporate planning and chief executive of the Aramco-Exxon Mobil refinery in Yanbu.

He replaces Mohammad al Ali, a senior vice-president of finance, which was a post equivalent to chief financial officer.
