OREANDA-NEWS. Due to a long-term tradition, VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation held a great festival at its sports and health center called "Melnichnanya" on the 23th of February. This festival was devoted to Fatherland Defender's Fay and thousands of people took part in it.

The Festival entertaining program was the following: tournament between the youth teams of Shops 16, 32, 5, 10 and Verkhnaya Salda schools and colleges teams; entertaining show called "Gravity" which was demonstrated by bikers from Ekaterinburg; performance of the regional folk ensemble called "the Firebird"; a special entertaining program for children, which allowed young participants to compete in shooting from a real gun - and it is not the full list of events held at the "Melnichnaya".

The work of field kitchen became a climax of the festival: Catering Services helped every willing person with army buckwheat porridge and domestic stew.

This Festival cost half a million rubles, and it is a small part of the big social program realized by VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation annually.

The total amount of beneficent help, aid for veterans, children events and other forms of social responsibility will be more than 700 million rubles for 2014.
