OREANDA-NEWS. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) is carrying out a scheduled on-site inspection of “AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals” Ltd. to verify whether the company observed the antimonopoly law of the Russian Federation in 2011-2014.

FAS requests to forward information about signs of “AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals” Ltd. violating the antimonopoly law. The company refused to conclude contracts, coordinated distributors in course of products resale, participated in competition-restricting agreements and concerted actions with other economic entities and the authorities, fixed reselling prices, and was involved in inappropriate cooperation with medical doctors, pharmacists and public officers that resulted in unfair competition, as well as other competition-restricting actions.
