OREANDA-NEWS.  Today the Governor of Omsk Region, Chairman of the Government of Omsk Region Viktor Nazarov and CJSC “GC “Titan” Chairman of the Board of Directors Mikhail Sutyaginsky signed a cooperation agreement.

The document supposes interaction between the parties which is aimed at socio-economic development of Omsk region, including increase in investment attractiveness of the region, development of agro-food cluster and creation of new jobs.

As Viktor Nazarov said, the agro-food cluster is one of priority points of growth within the framework of the Strategy for Socio-Economic Development of Omsk Region, and “Biocomplex” project realized by GC “Titan” is a break-through area which will give positive effect. The governor also mentioned that the regional government is interested in attraction of investors. Nowadays the Legislative Assembly of Omsk Region is developing a new concept for providing tax preferences to investors.

According to the signed agreement, it is planned to realize on the territory of Omsk region a project on construction of plant “Biocomplex” for deep processing of grains. Its construction will provide output of high added value (dry wheat starch, wheat gluten), increase in productivity and reduction of losses in grain cultures, involvement of unused or abandoned arable lands in agricultural turnover, growth of animal breeding and poultry keeping products output through the use of high-protein fodder additives.

- Besides, our target is to provide rural residents with jobs, – said Mikhail Sutyaginsky. – Commissioning of grain cultures’ deep processing plant supposes creation of ca. 1000 new jobs. Today the Government of the RF had set a task – to achieve high labor efficiency during realization of innovative projects. The nearest plans include construction of 120 kt capacity elevator. The design had already been completed and is ready for state expertise, equipment had been procured. It is planned to start construction in mid summer.

CJSC “GC “Titan” Chairman of the Board of Directors also mentioned that every successful undertaking of the Group of Companies became possible also owing to support from the regional government.

Nowadays, in order to realize “Biocomplex” project, an interagency task force was formed under the leadership of First Deputy Chairman of the Government of Omsk Region Vyacheslav Sinyugin; the task force includes representatives of regional ministries and Group of Companies “Titan”.
