OREANDA-NEWS. Over the last week the Ukrainian TV channel Inter + has ranked among TOP 20 most popular channels broadcast on Lattelecom TV. Due to this the trial period of the channel has been extended, and it will be still available within the framework of Interactive TV offering for the next three months.

"It's the customers viewing habits that indicate which of the channels should be included in the Basic Package. Following up on the turn of events in Ukraine and considering the existing customer demand the Ukrainian TV channel Inter+ has maintained its position within the Lattelecom TV package. In due course we are also going to commence the trial period of the TV channel TV Dozhd to offer this channel for consideration by our customers"," said Inga Alika, Director of TV Business Division of Lattelecom.

TV channel Inter + was included in the Lattelecom Interactive TV Basic Package in November 2013 under the section "Customers choice" ("Skatitaji izvelas"). Owing to the viewing habits and frequency at which the channel was watched - over the period of last few weeks this channel has been watched by 70 000 Lattelecom TV customers - Inter + will still be available to the Lattelecom TV customers for the next three months.

The section "Customers choice" was introduced in September 2012 to provide the customers the opportunity to select and, by way of their viewing habits, to indicate which of the channels need to be included in the Basic Package. In total more than 20 channels have thus been tested, of which 6 have been included in one of the existing Interactive TV packages.
