OREANDA-NEWS. Ingosstrakh Insurance Company branch in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk has won the tender for agreement on compulsory third-party liability insurance of hazardous facility owners against harm infliction due to an accident at hazardous facility with Novikovskaya Dizelnaya Elektricheskaya Stantsya OJSC with the liability limit under the agreement of RUB 10 m.

The agreement was concluded according to the Federal Law On Compulsory Insurance of Hazardous Facility Owners' Third-Party Liability for Harm Infliction due to an Accident at Hazardous Facility No. 225-FZ dated July 27, 2010, and Regulations on Compulsory Insurance of Hazardous Facility Owners' Third-Party Liability for Harm Infliction due to an Accident at Hazardous Facility approved by the Russian Government Decree No. 916 dated November 03, 2011.

The agreement covers the policy holder's risks related to occurrence of hazardous facility owner's third-party liability for obligations arising out of infliction of damage life, health or property of victims, including personnel of the enterprise, due to hazardous facility accident.

Ingosstrakh Insurance Company, a member of National Third-Party Liability Insurer Union, has 17-year experience of insuring third-party liability of organizations that operate hazardous production facilities in accordance with current laws.
