Ingosstrakh Improves Processing System of Motor Insurance Contracts
OREANDA-NEWS. Ingosstrakh Insurance Company has introduced a system of batch scanning, recognition and automated creation of voluntary motor insurance contracts developed on the basis of ABBYY FlexiCapture solution. Goal of the project - reducing operational costs, increased level of availability of original documents and quality of information entered into the company's automated information system (AIS).
In order to achieve these goals, in agent network there have been developed and distributed the machine readable forms of CASCO policies, including the interactive forms with a built-in system of automatic QR-coding of information entered on the printed policy form. It became possible to introduce into interactive forms a number of different tests, which allows early at the stage of policy printing to avoid errors in adding extra options to the structure of product line of voluntary motor insurance and to correctly display all the information in the printed form of the policy. This, in turn, led to a reduction in the number of corrupted strict reporting forms.
As of today, on the base of solution developed by ABBYY - a leader in the field of batch input of documents and data in the Russian market - Ingosstrakh Insurance Company has developed and put into operation a system that is able to recognize information from printed policy forms and on the basis of the data obtained to create voluntary motor insurance contracts in the AIS. Introduction of new technologies of automatic extraction of data from the printed form of a CASCO policy allowed to completely eliminate errors caused by the human factor when entering contracts into the AIS, as well as to significantly speed up the entry of contracts into Ingosstrakh Insurance Company's system. As a result, the rate of input into the AIS of the CASCO contracts formalized by using the interactive form of a policy with a built-in system of automatic QR-coding of information, compared to the manual entering the contract, has increased by an average of 2 times.
Batch scanning, recognition and automatic creation of CASCO contracts in the AIS is not the first project of the kind in Ingosstrakh Insurance Company. In 2012, the company implemented a system of scanning, recognition and automatic creation of OSAGO contracts in the AIS, which allowed to accelerate the OSAGO contracts entry into the AIS and to minimize the number of errors when entering.
Furthermore, in 2012-2013, Ingosstrakh Insurance Company implemented a system of scanning and automatic creation of an operational electronic archive for all motor insurance contracts.
