OREANDA-NEWS. CROC, one of the Russian IT market leaders, is now an official partner of 'Paralympics: Games without Barriers' - an independent public project aimed at providing maximum support for sportsmen with disabilities.

As part of its charitable giving, CROC will provide tablets with specially developed software to the Russian Team coaches and staff. Using this unified communications tool, members of the team will be able to share information on competitions and coordinate their activities in real time, including via video communications.

In addition, this software will significantly facilitate and speed up team staff communication with the mass media. To strengthen the Russian Team, CROC will also help arrange travel for an additional delegation to Sochi, including personal coaches, servicemen, and analysts.

"Sport and business have much in common: teamwork, desire to be the best, excitement, and commitment. We also try to foster a competitive spirit in our employees by encouraging them to expand their horizons, set new goals, and equip customers with technologies that are vital for leadership. Competing in the Paralympics requires a mix of spiritual strength, bold decision making, and perseverance to win, and we are pleased to support this project and will keep our fingers crossed for our athletes," said Boris Bobrovnikov, Director General, CROC.

"The Paralympic Movement is extremely popular worldwide and we hope that this project will increase interest amongst Russians in the Paralympics, its champions, and values. Russian athletes performed successfully at the past Paralympic Games and the fact that this year's event is held on home soil means that we are especially hopeful for new triumphs and exciting competition," said Pavel Rozhkov, Chef de Mission of the Russian Team for the 11th Paralympic Winter Games in Sochi in 2014, Honored Coach of Russia, Chairman of the Executive Committee and First Vice-President of the Russian Paralympic Committee.
