OREANDA-NEWS. Coordination board of the Federal Target Program "Development of domestic and inbound tourism in the Russian Federation (2011 - 2018)" will consider the Concept of tourist cluster of Southern Karelia on February, 28.

The decision to include this issue in the agenda was made on February, 24 at the session of the Working Group of the Coordination board where Valery Kiryanov, Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Karelia for Tourism, has submitted the prepared information.

Coordination board holds competitive selection of investment projects of the Russian Federation to draw the event list of the Federal Target Program "Development of domestic and inbound tourism in the Russian Federation (2011 - 2018)".

Valentin Chmil, Deputy Head of the Republic of Karelia and Minister of Economic Development will defend the project of the Republic of Karelia concerning development of tourism and related industries in Sortavala, Pitkaranta, Olonets, Lahdenpohja, Prionezhsky, Kondopoga, Medvezhiegorsk regions and the city of Petrozavodsk at the session of the Coordination board.
