OREANDA-NEWS. On February 24, 2014 Yuriy Kurmaz, a former Director of Corporate Affairs at Astelit (life:) TM), was appointed the Director of Ukrtelecom JSC.

Yuriy has extensive experience in senior positions in the telecommunications industry and in the field of relations with regulatory and state authorities. From 2010 to February 2014 he served as the Director of Corporate Affairs at Astelit (life:) TM).

“Now, when he has become part of the Ukrtelecom team, Yuriy Kurmaz will actively participate in the process of transformation of the national telecommunications operator to hold the leading position in the market,” Alexander Barinov, the Chairman of Ukrtelecom JSC, stated. “I am sure Yuriy will use all his knowledge and experience in the industry to address the goals set by the shareholders.”

Igor Kravets, who from October 2013 served as the Director of Ukrtelecom JSC, from February 24, 2014 will continue to work in the company as the Director of Business Support Department.
