Aeroflot Expands Fleet with New 777-300ER
OREANDA-NEWS. Aeroflot has taken delivery of a new Boeing 777-300ER named in honour of Ivan Bunin, the Russian writer, poet and critic who was the first Russian Nobel Prize winner for Literature. This is the sixth aircraft of an order for sixteen B777.
The 777-300ER is configured in a three-class arrangement, with business-, economy- and comfort-class salons. Aeroflot's comfort class has been designed with a focus on price and quality, and includes a number of attractive features such as increased leg room, an upgraded on-board menu, additional baggage room and more Aeroflot Bonus reward miles. On Aeroflot's winter timetable the new 777-300ER will fly on routes to Sochi, Khabarovsk, Krasnoyarsk, Vladivostok, Hong Kong, Bangkok and Phuket.
Features of the 777-300ER include excellent fuel efficiency, a spacious cabin, extended range and high level of reliability. It can accommodate up to 550 passengers - more than any other twin-engine long-haul aircraft. Boeing's spacious Signature Interior includes large overhead compartments and has deservedly won popularity among passengers. New aircraft are also equipped with Boeing's Airplane Health Management system.
The new aircraft forms part of Aeroflot's strategy to expand its route network and to open new opportunities in Russia and abroad. By renewing and expanding its fleet, Aeroflot can provide a high level of flight reliability, improve product quality and enter new markets.
