OREANDA-NEWS. JSC "Baltic Telekom" had appointed UAB FMI "Orion Securities" as trading liquidity provider and market maker following its recent listing on the NASDAQ Baltic First North. Market making activity is intended to increase the liquidity and facilitate trading of shares. Orion Securities will start market making activities on 24th of February, 2014.

Orion Securities, in the capacity of market maker has committed itself to maintain the offer on the buy and sell side during 85% of trading hours. Orion Securities will maintain the demand and supply for Baltic Telekom shares at minimum order size of EUR 1000 until total daily deal value reaches EUR 5000 with a maximum spread between the demand and supply price of 4%.

Alius Jakubelis from Orion Securities said: "We are pleased to be appointed as liquidity provider for the company who has significant shareholding in the leading broadband wireless provider in Latvia. Investors seeking exposure to the telecommunications sector in the Baltics have few choices and Baltic Telekom could provide this opportunity."
