OREANDA-NEWS. February 24, 2014. SME Bank (Vnesheconombank Group) has issued a guarantee for a loan of NOMOS-BANK granted to Neftehimprom (Izhevsk) for establishing a woodworking integrated plant in the single-industry town of Omutninsk, the Kirov Oblast. The guarantee amount is RUB 126 million (50% of the loan).

The guarantee support is provided in line with the agreement between SME-Bank and NOMOS-BANK. The document states that SME Bank will provide guarantees to secure loans issued by NOMOS-BANK to SMEs engaged in investment projects. The guarantee limit fixed for NOMOS-BANK is RUB 7 billion.

"We hope that cooperation with NOMOS-BANK will be a good start in the search for significant investment projects that need government support,” said Olesya Teploukhova, Member of the Board - Deputy Chairman of SME Bank. “We calculate that the RUB 7 billion agreement will allow us to implement at least 10 investment projects."

SME Bank and NOMOS-BANK have been cooperating within the SME Lending Support Program since 2009. Over this time 1,170 SMEs have received support for more than RUB 7.2 billion.
