Omsky Kauchuk Manufactured Industrial-Purpose Gasoline
OREANDA-NEWS. February 24, 2014. Another milestone in manufacture of products was achieved thanks to modernization of production facilities for high-octane additives and liquefied hydrocarbon gases.
The enterprise produces industrial-purpose gasoline on normal butylenes processing unit. Monthly output of the product exceeds 3,5 kt. Up to now total amount of manufactured gasoline has exceeded 50 kt. The goods are supplied to Russian consumers in the regions of Moscow, Chelyabinsk, Novosibirsk, Krasnodarsky territory, Altaisky territory and other parts of the country.
Let us mention that in the middle of last year a modernized scheme on the processing of hydrocarbons was implemented in the technological process of the making of high-octane additives on the plant “Omsky Kauchuk”. The major advantage of the making of gasoline by the new scheme is its ecological safety. The novelty provides deeper processing of normal butylenes, which earlier had served as a feedstock for the making of domestic gases; those gases caused smoking during combustion and were hazardous for ecology. Nowadays one produces industrial-purpose gasoline from n-butylenes.
The plant is planning to conduct further modernization of normal butylenes processing, thanks to which one will be able to reduce content of unsaturated hydrocarbons and increase octane rating.
